GUJCOST’s Supermoon Watch Don’t Miss
GUJCOST is holding a “Supermoon Watch” program from 4–6 November 2025, across its Regional Science Centres (RSCs) and Community Science Centres (CSCs) in all districts of Gujarat. On the night of 5 November, the Moon will reach a phase known as a “supermoon” — when it is full and at its closest point to the Earth in its elliptical orbit (a phenomenon known as perigee-syzygy). GUJCOST describes this as a spectacular celestial show: the Moon will appear about 14% larger and 30% brighter than a typical full Moon.
