Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) has emerged as a minimally invasive and effective treatment for severe aortic stenosis, particularly in high-risk or inoperable patients. In individuals with rheumatologic diseases—such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and other chronic inflammatory disorders—cardiovascular complications are more prevalent due to persistent systemic inflammation, accelerated atherosclerosis, and long-term immunosuppressive therapy.
